Identify the assessor and the scope
Sunway Velocity explicitly lists adult ADHD and ADHD assessment under Dr Gayathri Samarasam. MY Psychology describes a consultation, proposed assessment scope and written quotation before testing. Ask who conducts and signs each part, whether further psychology testing is proposed and what the report can be used for. A named practitioner on a clinic roster does not establish that they will conduct your assessment.
Compare report, feedback and payment together
Aloe Mind’s shared assessment process includes a brief report and a findings briefing within 2–3 weeks after testing, with full payment to secure testing. MY Psychology makes a written report dependent on the agreed scope. These are different inclusions, not a comparison of assessment quality. Ask for the total written scope, expected visits, cancellation terms and whether the report meets its intended purpose before paying.
Plan what happens after the findings
Aloe Mind describes psychotherapy and possible referral to a psychiatrist, rather than medication within its psychology assessment. The Mind Faculty describes psychiatry and psychology coordination with consent. Ask whether a separate consultation is needed, whether another clinician will review the report and how follow-up charges work. Neither pathway guarantees a diagnosis, prescription, appointment or acceptance of an external report.
