OPTIMAX describes a suitability examination of roughly two to three hours and a discussion of options, individual risks and aftercare. Ask each branch who performs the assessment, which surgeon reviews it and how the findings and alternatives are explained. Ask the clinic for its current contact-lens preparation instructions rather than applying another provider’s instructions to your appointment.
Compare the whole visit sequence
ISEC’s dated 2024 brochure describes a three-to-four-hour assessment, arranging a driver after dilation and follow-ups at one day, one week and one month, with separate follow-up charges. Treat this as an example of practical differences to check, not a current universal schedule. Ask each branch for its present assessment, surgery and return-visit plan, inclusions, aftercare contact and any enhancement terms in writing. Factor in time away from work and repeated travel, alongside the proposed procedure.
Use feedback to investigate your priorities
Read accounts about the exact procedure, practitioner and branch when possible. Look for details about explanations, coordination, follow-up and unexpected charges. Check when the visit happened and whether the author describes their own experience. A chain-level review may concern another branch; an individual account cannot tell you what everyone experiences. Use positive and negative feedback to decide what matters to you and what to clarify with the provider.
