Caregivers helping with a bill
Use the same price comparison to discuss a relative’s bill and prepare questions together.
Submitted bill lines appear as individual raw observations. Similar descriptions remain separate unless a separate evidence process establishes comparability.
Each observed charge comes from one submitted bill line. Raw observations and separately cited references remain distinct evidence states.
Medify and the hospitals named have not independently confirmed these observations. Low sample sizes may not be representative.
Public descriptions exclude obvious contact details and labelled identifiers. Automated filtering cannot guarantee that arbitrary free text contains no unlabelled personal name.
01
We extract the item name, quantity, price and date shown on each submitted medical bill.
02
A raw bill entry may be shown as one observed charge without claiming it is equivalent to another item. Package details are shown only when they were reliably extracted.
03
Medify publishes each eligible bill line as its own raw observation. Similar descriptions are not silently merged or treated as the same item.
The comparison gives patients and caregivers a clearer starting point for asking about an item on a medical bill.
Use the same price comparison to discuss a relative’s bill and prepare questions together.
Use raw observations and cited references as context, and compare only when the item, unit and package are independently established.
Ask a hospital or insurer more specific questions. A comparison is supporting information, not proof that a charge is wrong.
Medify observations come from user-submitted Malaysian medical bills. They are not independently confirmed by Medify or the named hospitals. LIAM is a separate service-price reference guide and is not combined with submitted bill observations.
